Ilda's alarm awoke her abruptly, she didn't feel like she had slept at all. Groggy and dishevelled she leaned over and changed the alarm for an hour then tried to get comfortable again. She was never one to sleep on her back but she had no other choice with her new broken toe and the pile of pillows it was laying on. She tossed and turned as best as she could trying her best to get comfy but nothing seemed to fit. Settling in she opened her eyes, her bladder had made the final decision on sleeping in or not. Ilda limped through the doors of the Maid of Plaster cast cafe trying not to put too much pressure on her semi new cast. The pain of her set big toe wasn't bothering her as much as the wondering if she had made a mistake. 'A simple get well card is nothing to worry about' Ilda thought, she didn't even write her full name when signing it. Walking to the chalkboard she wiped away part of what was written and added “with toe spica *MED*,” before letting out a sigh. Ilda hobbled hurriedly on her way to work. Not that she was late; she just liked being there early. Ilda worked as a maid at the ‘Maid of Plaster’ cast-café, which was down near the waterfront. The reason she was limping was due to a severely sprained ankle, which had been treated with a light pink fibre cast with a walking heel rather than the usual bandages and crutches, as it was hard for Ilda to use them. As Gwen emerged back onto the landing between Loli's apartment and hers, she noticed that the removal team were still at work carrying boxes to and fro.
